Digital X-ray — the first picture for many injuries and chest questions

X-ray remains the fastest, lowest-complexity imaging test. Dense structures (bone, metal) appear white; air appears dark. Most studies take minutes, need no injection, and are the correct first test for suspected simple fracture, many coughs and chest complaints, sinus screening in selected cases, and device placement checks.

What We Offer

X-ray studies available

Chest X-ray (PA/lateral or portable protocol as available)
Skeletal X-rays: hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, foot, ankle, knee, hip, pelvis
Spine series: cervical, thoracic, lumbar
Abdomen (KUB) when CT is not the chosen first test
Sinus / facial series if still performed
Soft-tissue foreign body (glass/metal)

Prep for X-ray

  • → No fasting required for standard films.
  • → Remove jewelry and metal in the field of the exam.
  • → Tell us if you may be pregnant before any exposure.
  • → Lead shielding is used when it does not hide anatomy needed for the diagnosis.
